ACER Certificates recognise three broad levels of achievement in both Mathematics and Reading. At each Certificate level, student achievement is assessed across a range of skill areas at increasing levels of difficulty. The ACER Certificates’ levels provide a learning progression for students to track their growth against.
In 2017, both primary and secondary schools have the opportunity to participate in the ACER Certificate program.
Once registered, schools are eligible to offer their students from Year 3 to Year 8 the opportunity to gain an ACER Certificate in Mathematics or Reading.
